Iraq – Al-Kazemi tries to control border crossings

Analysts believe that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi is trying to extend the government’s control over the border crossings, which are among the most prominent files of corruption in Iraq, being incurring heavy losses and imaginary amounts by the state, indicating that Al-Kazemi is also seeking to build bridges of trust with the Kurdistan region in the north of the country, to tighten control of its border outlets under the umbrella of federal laws.
