Iraq – Demonstrations in front of the green zone gates calling for overthrowing Al-Kadhimi

Baghdad – Iraq 12/07/2020

Hundreds of political prisoners, relatives of martyrs and detainees demonstrated in front of one of the gates of the Green Zone in Baghdad, protesting against cutting of their salaries, the demonstration began in front of the building of the Institution of Political Prisoners in al-Jadriya area towards the Green Zone, during which protesters raised slogans denouncing the government’s decisions and demanding overthrowing Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.
