Iraq- Experts: Iraq must increase its intelligence efforts to hunt down ISIS remnants in sensitive areas

After military operations were launched to hunt down the remnants of ISIS north of Baghdad five months ago by joint forces of the army, federal police and popular mobilization forces and with the support of air forces of the coalition forces, experts pointed out that it is now necessary to increase intelligence efforts and follow up diligently to be able to track down ISIS cells located in sensitive areas in the capital Baghdad such as north of Tarmiyah and others, which have stroke the security and stability of the country by targeting some security checkpoints in those areas, experts also pointed out that the terrain and locations that were raided by Iraqi forces in these areas are difficult to reach except through drones, and that this military operation is very important in order to maintain the security and stability of the capital Baghdad and all the provinces of Iraq in general by starting from the borders of Baghdad towards other provinces to the farthest point on the Iraqi border.
