The “Nani Terry” bread, or better known as the Kurdish Raqqaq bread, still tops the scene in the markets and ovens of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the smell of bread and its tastiness overwhelms the place, for this Kurdish bread, which is known as slave, for its delicacy, it is very popular, as it beats other types of bread along its long shelf life that exceeds 3 months, it consists of completely natural materials and does not include in it bread any preservatives or even yeast dough, and still makes tortillas bread in homes or in private factories in order to preserve this ancient legacy from disappearing.
