Iraq- Hezbollah: Refusing to hand over weapons until foreign troops withdraw from Iraq

Mohammed Salim, a member of the Political Bureau of Kata’ib Hezbollah in Iraq, called against the release of the detainees from the popular mobilization, and to complete the investigation procedures, especially since the arrest and raid that took place did not show any criminal highlight or rocket launchers, adding that the site was a government military barracks belonging to the Popular Mobilization and recorded within the operations of Baghdad, as a member of the Political Bureau of Kata’ib Hezbollah, Muthanna al-Ghanimi, explained that Kata’ib Hezbollah’s refusal to hand over their weapons until the withdrawal or rescheduling of the withdrawal of foreign forces is completed from Iraq, especially after the parliament voted to withdraw these forces, adding that since spring 2003, the Islamic Resistance has declared its resistance to any foreign power on the Iraqi land.
