Iraq : Iraqi antiquities nomination for the World Heritage List seminar

A seminar on the antiquities of the marshes and on the occasion of its nomination to the World Heritage list was held in Iraqi Capital, Baghdad, the seminar aims to educate the public about the importance of this event because of its influence on the revival of tourism in Iraq.

It is reported that the Ministry of Health and the Environment in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Iraqi Media Network organized a campaign in Mutanabi Street to support the nomination of the marshes and Iraq antiquities as part of the World Heritage list, in addition to a popular campaign to various segments of the community through exhibitions of photographs showing the importance of the Marshes and Iraq antiquities, the vote is scheduled to be held in the UNESCO conference in Istanbul next July
