Iraq – Charitable organizations continue to distribute food baskets before Ramadan

Charitable organizations, with the participation of a number of well-off citizens and volunteers, continue their campaigns by distributing food baskets to poor and needy families in the Iraqi capital, before the start of the holy month of Ramadan, as part of the many Ramadan initiatives that stress the importance of social solidarity, to support and meet the needs of low-income individuals and those with daily wages affected by the curfew imposed in response to the Coronavirus crisis.
