Iraq – Protesters take several measures to prevent Coronavirus

Awareness has not been overlooked since the beginning of the protests on October 1st last year until this moment, after the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the country, demonstrators have taken several preventive measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus among demonstrators in protest squares, including sterilization and cleaning the tents where demonstrators who are wearing medical masks and gloves are present, as well as continuing to spread health awareness to prevent the virus, the demonstrators resorted to reducing the momentum in the squares through the withdrawal of demonstrators from the fields of protests leaving behind them a number of those stationed in tents in order not to allow security forces and militias to seize the opportunity and end the protests once and for all, activists confirmed that they are returning to the squares and that peaceful escalation sought against government actions will continue after the end of the Coronavirus crisis.
