Iraq – Political consensus to appoint al-Kadhimi to form new government

Analysts confirmed that the appointment of the head of the intelligence service, Mustafa Abdul Latif al-Kadhimi, to head the government, after the apology of former Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zurfi, comes after a consensus between the various political forces and blocs that were at a clear and significant disagreement regarding the assignment of Al-Zurfi, analysts added that the political forces, whether they were convinced with al-Kadhimi forced to do so, must proceed today towards the transitional government, pointing out that the cabinet of the president-designate will pass with ease, because al-Kadhimi will go towards early elections and does not have a heavy program.
