“If you do not have money, do not be embarrassed and don’t leave your family without eating, go ahead and take what you need for your children from me” … Perhaps this phrase that one of the owners of grocery stores hang it up in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, is a hope and a haven for those with daily wages and limited income to secure the livelihood of their day and their families, after the Iraqi authorities imposed a curfew and severely restricted the movement of citizens to confront the Corona virus, which further exacerbated the daily wage crisis, especially since a large segment of Iraqis work daily for wages before the Corona crisis, which made the well-off and able-bodied launch several humanitarian initiatives to help those in need bearing the title of social solidarity.”
