Iraq – Sanctions and fines imposed on those who violate the curfew

Erbil provincial police chief Diler al-Najjar explained that all citizens should cooperate and abide by the instructions of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Health, by staying indoors and complying with quarantine to prevent the coronavirus from spreading in the country, adding that the virus is transmitted very quickly among people through gathering,  on the other hand, the deputy governor of Erbil and the Spokesman for the Corona Virus Response Room, Hayman Qadir, said that if citizens do not comply with the curfew, they will be violated with a fine and the seizure of their vehicles, in accordance with the laws and instructions of the General Directorate of Traffic in Erbil province.
