Iraq – Food baskets distributed to needy and displaced people with extended curfew in Kurdistan

The Kurdistan Regional Government’s imposition of a total curfew throughout the region has prompted charities such as Barzan to distribute food baskets containing staplefood to the displaced, needy and poor and underprivileged families.The foundation said that in addition to helping the displaced and the poor, it is working to deliver food aid to families whose livelihood is completely distributed, especially those that depend on daily payments, noting that it has distributed 1,833 food baskets in Erbil city since the announcement of the curfew.
