Yemen – Closure of all border crossings and questions about the government’s preparedness

The internationally recognized Yemeni government announced yesterday the closure of the country’s air and land ports completely starting on Wednesday and for two weeks, this decision comes as a precautionary measure, after many countries closed their air, land and sea ports due to the coronavirus pandemic, the decision was met by many questions about the precautionary steps taken by the government at home and its security control over the entire coastal strip to stop the illegal African migration that continues, in a special statement to Arab24 the Director General of Disease Control and Epidemiological Surveillance in the Ministry of Public Health and Yemeni population Dr. Adham Mohammed Awad said that the ministry has prepared a plan to face Coronavirus since the beginning of its spread in the countries of the world, pointing out that the ministry has taken all the measures required to face it.
