Musical Evening for the musician Nizar Rohana “Rohana Trio” was held in the Jordanian Capital, Amman in Abdul Hameed Shoman institute which features his performance on the “Oud” with maintenance of the eastern character, and the artist celebrated the launch of his new album, “Firat” through a tour in several countries around the world.
The album “Firat” as an extension for Rohana trip to explore new possibilities for the Oud mixing it with eastern soul in a modern expression through an innovative way. Rohana created high audio performance which was unfamiliar to many with musical compositions derived from civilizations and peoples who lived on the banks of the Euphrates River.
Nizar Rohana, a Palestinian artist born in Isfiya village in Mount Carmel of Haifa in 1975 and learned music from his father, who was played the Oud along with his mother who accompanied him. Rohana is known for his unique performance on the Oud while maintaining the eastern character in his contemporary compositions.
