Jordan – Labour Unions’ campaign to raise minimum wage

The National Campaign for defending Jordanian Workers held a press conference saturday afternoon to announce the campaign, which will be launched under the title “The Voice of Workers” at the headquarters of the Jordanian Democratic People’s Unity Party located in the capital Amman. This campaign comes according to the organizers to defend the workers of Jordan, as it will work against the oppression of the Jordanian working class, and will be exploited to defend the workers in the public and private sectors, pointing out that the slogan of The Voice of Workers campaign at this stage will include raising the minimum wage and freedom of organization of labour trade unions.
