The Kurdish political blocs have not yet resolved the issue regarding the political figure nominated for the post of prime minister, where a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party indicated that the prime minister must have a strong personality and enjoy the great support of parties and deputies, and take into account the demands of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in terms of the region’s budget, in addition to resolving the disputed areas, adding that the Iraqi street’s demands for the nomination of an independent figure who does not belong to the political process are intractable.
