New clashes erupted in Thara front between Mekras and Loder of Abyan province, southeast Yemen between Houthi group and Saleh forces on one hand and the Yemeni army and popular resistance on the other hand.
The Houthis are trying to break into Thara and re-control it. Both sides used medium and machinegun fire and grenades and the clashes led to the displacement of residents of the area for fear of expansion of the clashes circle where the shells affected a number of civilian houses.
