Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Ayman al-Safadi, on Tuesday, has signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral consultations with his Norwegian counterpart Ine Marie Eriksen in an expanded meeting to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and the latest regional developments, Eriksen said during the meeting held at the Convention Centre In the Dead Sea, that her country supports Jordan’s efforts to support Palestinian refugees living on its territory, revealing that her government donated $13.3 million to UNRWA, in addition to continuing to provide support to Syrian refugees as well, and after the meeting the King of Norway, Harald V, made a speech during a seminar held within the framework of the Royal Norwegian Visit to Jordan organized by the University of Jordan entitled “Prospects for Dialogue in the Middle East”, during which he expressed his great happiness with the Norwegian-Jordanian partnership in various fields, stressing the continuity of consultations and relations between two countries.
