Iraq: The role of civil society organizations in helping the displaced.
The civil society institutions in the city of Baghdad, capital of Iraq, are providing all the supplies needed by the displaced of food supplies, health services, after their displacement due to the control of their areas by ISIS.
After ISIS control on the cities located in the western part of the capital, Baghdad, since the beginning of 2014, the people of these regions began displacement to other cities and Iraqi provinces with the largest proportion of displacement to Baghdad, which made it incumbent on the central government to provide them with assistance.
The role of civil society organizations in providing all assistance to the displaced people with food products and health services was prominent and they have set up a simple Relief Center and later on a health center with a laboratory and a pharmacy to serve thousands of displaced families
