Jordan – Jordan’s MPs propose ban on gas imports from Israel

On Sunday the Jordanian parliament voted on a bill banning the import of gas from Israel, before referring it to the government for approval in accordance with the constitution.MPs confirmed that the approval of the proposed law was in response to the popular rejection of the gas import agreement signed between Amman and Tel Aviv, which entered into experimental implementation this year, calling on the government to work seriously to repeal the agreement.
