The commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Esmail Ghaani, is preparing to visit Iraq for the first time after the assassination of his predecessor Qassem Soleimani in a U.S. raid in Baghdad, the visit of Ghaani coincides with the continued rearrangement of the popular mobilization forces in Iraq, in anticipation of American intransigence in the implementation of the Iraqi resolution in leaving the country, according to analysts who have indicated that the military option is available under international law.
