Iraq- US try to prevent their forces from leaving Iraq

After the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, rejected the request of the Iraqi caretaker government, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, which included sending a delegation to Iraq to discuss the exit of the American military forces, analysts pointed out that the US invokes that the caretaker government has no right to control such a decision, indicating that the existence of foreign forces since 16 years ago needs a long time to get them out of the country.
