Iraq – The Iraqi Constitution is under construction through the pens and ideas of specialists and lawmen

Human rights organizations held a public conference to present the proposed constitutional amendments to the current Iraqi constitution, with the participation of a number of experts in constitutional law and political, partisan, and popular forces, the Organization for the Promotion of Human Rights, which hosted the first Constitutional Conference, stated that through these meetings it is trying to assist the parliamentary committee competent to amend the Constitution by submitting proposals from competent persons and knowledge of legal and constitutional matters, from their side, the participant explained the importance of working together to amend some provisions of the constitution relating to the political parties and the electoral law to ensure the access of people who are able to protect the rights of future generations.
