Yemen-Riyadh agreement teeters as a result of its parties hiding behind their interests

The failure of implementing the terms of the Riyadh agreement effectively in Yemen has raised popular and political concerns about a return of tension in areas that have experienced relative tranquility over the past period based on the agreement, observers said that one of the most important provisions of the agreement signed under Saudi auspices between the legitimate government and the Southern Transitional Council and was not implemented was to appoint a governor and a security director in Aden, as well as the establishment of a committee to study the living conditions of citizens in those areas.
