Jordan- King proclaims full Jordanian sovereignty over Baqoura and Ghumar

King Abdullah II of Jordan opened the fourth and final session of the 18th ordinary session of the National Assembly with a speech of the Throne in which he announced the termination of the work of the annexes of Baqoura and Ghumar of the peace treaty with Israel and the imposition of Jordanian sovereignty thereon, at the end of the speech, the Senate and the parliament council held two separate sessions to recite the royal will to convene the National Assembly in a regular session in addition to the election of a committee to respond to the Throne’s speech.
