The demonstrators still control the Al-Ahrar Bridge, which connects the two sides of Al-Karkh and Al-Rasafa in the capital, Baghdad, after they succeeded in storming it and closing it and preventing anyone crossing it, in order to press for the implementation of a civil disobedience they called for earlier to carry it out, riot police and security forces tried to open the bridge Yesterday, seven demonstrators were injured, as a result of the use of live bullets and tear gas, the Al-Ahrar Bridge, the oldest bridge in Baghdad, established by the British army in 1918, and then called the General Maud Bridge.
