Yemen – The Public Library in Taiz… The war closed it and peace opened its doors again

The Culture Office in Taiz reopened the public library to visitors after a closure of more than five years due to the ongoing fighting in the country. The “Wasl lel Salam” campaign, which oversaw the restoration of the building, showed that the library contains thousands of books ranging from scientific, literary, artistic and even recreational to all age groups, noting that the reopening of the library will provide a safe space for young people to avoid engaging in military conflicts in Yemen.
