Jordan – Teachers protest to claim their 50% bonus

Thousands of teachers working in the government sector gathered this afternoon near the prime minister’s office in Amman to demand a 50% bonus of the total basic salary that they have been promised more than five years ago and has not yet been implemented, protesters pointed out that they are tired of the government’s promises, stating that their demand is clear and irreversible, a number of protestors expressed their shock from the strict security measures that is being taken to prevent them from reaching the prime minister’s office to protest.
