Iraq: Islamic discourse in the face of terrorism.
A scientific conference associated with the Islamic discourse in the face of terrorism was launched in Baghdad and organized by the Iraqi Interior Ministry in cooperation with the Sunni Endowment and the Shiite in Baghdad with the participation of political and religious figures. The conference aims to find the concept of a moderate Islamic speech and ways to combat terrorism.
In cooperation with the Sunni and Shiite Endowment and organized by the Iraqi Interior Ministry, aiming to create the concept of a moderate Islamic speech, the work of a scientific conference associated with the Islamic discourse in the face of terrorism started yesterday at the headquarters of the Interior Ministry in Baghdad with the participation of political, religious, scientific and academic figures.
The conference seeks to discuss ways to combat terrorism as the blind terrorism of certain interests and forces is the main reason behind the marginalization of the meaning of Islam, in addition to reaching out how to carry out a thorough change in the level of the Islamic discourse to counter terrorism, a number of specialists in fighting terrorism participated in the conference, and several projects have been put forward, to be taken after close studies.
It is worth to mention that the religion of Islam espoused by more than a fifth of the world’s population has suffered during the recent period of much criticism because of the presence of terrorist organizations that claim Islam.
