The President of the Jordanian House of Representatives, Atef Tarawneh announced during a press conference held on Tuesday to talk about the summit of the Global Forum for Women Parliamentarians and the applications for participation of 486 parliamentary and international political figure and a number of women leaders will participate in the summit as well.

The President of the Jordanian House of Representatives, Atef Tarawneh announced during a press conference held on Tuesday to talk about the summit of the Global Forum for Women Parliamentarians and the applications for participation of 486 parliamentary and international political figure and a number of women leaders will participate in the summit as well.
Tarawneh clarifies that this summit is royally sponsored and represent an important global event held for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa.
He pointed out that the establishment of the summit in Jordan demonstrate the importance and prestige of the Kingdom internationally established by Jordan’s King Abdullah II in various international forums and meetings.
Participants in the summit to be held in cooperation with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Council of House of Representatives includes hundreds of parliament women and women with important positions, representing 89 countries.
