Iraq-Erbil markets witness active trade movement in preparation for Eid al-Fitr

 The markets and malls in the city of Erbil in the Kurdistan region of Iraq are witnessing an active trade movement prior to the arrival of Eid al-Fitr,  the streets and shops are crowded with citizens who are shopping for their needs such as Eid clothing, household items and foodstuffs, especially sweets and nuts of all kinds, people in the Kurdistan region usually prepare for Eid al-Fitr by preparing sweets, nuts, and other traditional folk sweets, and presenting them to the guests in Eid, the residents of the city always make sure to visit their parents, relatives and friends in order to exchange blessings which is considered to be a tradition of celebrating Eid al-Fitr.
