Iraq – Analysts : Escalating tension between Washington and Tehran could ravage Iraq

In light of the escalating tension between Washington and Tehran, a number of Iraqi political analysts have voiced their concern about turning Iraq into an economic, security, or military,  square between the two parties, analysts found that the repercussions of the sanctions on Iran would negatively affect Iraq’s economic and political aspects, especially the decision to prevent the export of Iraqi oil to Iran, as Iraq relies heavily in its revenues on its exporting crude oil, while others have found that the best solution to avoid this crisis is to calm things down between the two parties first and then eliminate the US-Iranian influence in Iraq.
