Iraq – Iftar banquet for fasting people outside the historic Citadel of Erbil

A big Iftar banquet was held outside the historic Citadel of Erbil in the Kurdistan region, organized by the Consulate General of Kuwait in cooperation with the Barzani Charity Foundation and Erbil Governor. The banquet brought together workers, hawkers, displaced people and refugees. The 10-day campaign will cover several areas in Erbil and its suburbs, during which, over 3,500 food baskets provided by the State of Kuwait will be delivered to refugee camps in the region throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
