Iraq – Hundreds of workers protest on their day to demand protection of the working class

Hundreds of workers have organized a protest, in front of the headquarters of the Communist Party, in the Capital of Iraq, Baghdad, on the occasion of Labor Day, to demand an improve in working conditions, and legislate new regulations that would serve the Iraqi working class, ones that would provide them with health, economic, and social insurance, from their point of view some laws are still inoperative, the protesters also called on the Iraqi government to support the private sector and open several factories to increase production and reduce unemployment.
