Yemen – Opening of the Shabwa Book and Rare Historical Manuscripts Fair

The Shabwa Book and Rare Historical Manuscripts  Fair,  opened at the Cultural Center in the city of Ataq in Shabwa governorate, southeast of Yemen, with an attendance of a large crowd led by the management of the Ministry of Culture and Local Authority, the exhibition, which lasts for 10 days, includes three different wings with more than 1100  titles, in addition to a special wing for the geology of Shabwa and the historical manuscripts wing, it also includes more than 200 manuscripts, some of which had been written for more than 400  years, the exhibition also contained many activities and a performance of traditional Shabwan folk dances, as well as a series of literary and artistic activities.
