Iraq – First volunteer campaign to clean up Mosul

Iraqi crisis cell announced completing the first stage of the clean-up campaign in Mosul Nineveh and successfully removing the remnants with the participation of 3500 workers and thousands of young volunteers from all social segments in Mosul, in addition to Civil Society Organizations. Mosul’s right side and left side were divided into 9 sectors, 3593 m3 of debris and 3572 ton of waste were removed, roads along 233 Km were repaired. This clean-up campaign is the first volunteer work with the crisis cell formed by Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi after sacking Nineveh governor.
