Yemen – Analysts: Russian and US ambassadors’ visit to Aden indicates that the solution must be political

The Russian Ambassador Vladimir Didushkin and US Ambassador Matthew Toller paid a visit to Yemen’s capital Aden to meet with the Yemeni Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik along with multiple political parties, as part of the international and diplomatic support for the legitimate government, which is struggling to stabilize the situation in Yemen’s liberated areas and establish security with the support of the Legitimacy Coalition. Yemeni analysts welcomed this visit as it represents an international recognition of the Yemeni government, and it shows that the political solution will soon put an end to the Yemeni conflict. They added that the Houthi militia must comply with the Stockholm Convention, in preparation for a comprehensive political solution that will put an end to the Yemeni conflict and restore legitimacy to the entire country.
