Iraq – Analysts call for enacting laws for foreign troops withdrawal

Political analysts emphasized the need to endorse a legislation to expel all the foreign troops from Iraq, which the Iraqi Parliament intends to enact, stressing that the Iraqi security forces are capable of protecting and guarding the borders. They also said that the troops’ withdrawal will give international companies a chance to invest in the country, while others added that nothing justifies the foreign forces’ presence in Iraq, especially that ISIS has been defeated so their presence is illegal and some might consider it a form of occupation, since the United States has an agenda to stay in Iraq for a longer time.
