Yemen – Health Ministry building opens in Aden

The Health Ministry building was opened in Aden, southern Yemen, where Dr. Ahmed Al-Manthari, the Regional Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) in the Middle East, stressed the organization’s commitment to support Yemen and help it provide the citizens with proper health care services, and make sure all Yemen’s provinces get access to decent health care. The opening ceremony was attended by the Yemeni Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Salem Al-Khanbashi and Dr. Nasser Baoum, Yemeni Minister of Health. For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Salem Al-Khanbashi praised the efforts made by the WHO in inaugurating the Health ministry building, and thanked the organization for providing all kinds of support and medical care to the Yemeni people who face a dreadful war.
