Iraq – Arab and International Relations Council holds a press conference in Baghdad

The Arab and International Relations Council held a press conference in Iraq’s capital Baghdad, and it was attended by a number of Prime Ministers, former Presidents and senior officials, where Iyad Allawi, the Vice President of the AIRC, pointed out that going forward the council is going to concentrate on certain political issues of great importance, to name a few, the Palestinian cause, Yemen’s political solution, and Syria’s current situation. The former Secretary-General of the Arab League, Amr Moussa, stressed the need for all the participating countries to believe in the same grounds, which include not interfering in internal affairs, and they all must agree to solve their issues in a peaceful way, without the need to resort to militias and terrorist acts.
