Iraq – Civil activists demand respect for human rights

Following many violations and arrests that have been practiced against a large number of activists and journalists, several civil activists called on Iraq’s relevant authorities to respect human rights, which mainly originated from international legislations and standards. This came during a press conference that was held in Baghdad amid a broad participation by those interested in human rights.
