Iraq – First fashion show for people with special needs in Kurdistan

Iraqi fashion designers have launched a fashion show for people with special needs in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan, under the title of “The Impossible”. This fashion show is the first of its kind in Iraq, and it aims at supporting this segment of society and giving them their own stylish outfits that are inspired by modern fashion, where the outfits are chosen according to their ages, sizes and kind of disability, and they get to be models and show their outfits to the audience. This event will contribute to opening a sewing factory for people with special needs. The designers called upon the government and the private sector to offer support to this important segment of society, which deserves to have equal rights and duties.
