Yemen – Hajour tribes control strategic sites in Hajjah

Following a series of clashes between the Houthis and the Hajour tribes, the later was able to gain control over Al-Qayyim village east of Al-Abisa in Kashar district of Hajjah governorate, northwestern Yemen. The clashes resulted in killing and wounding a number of Houthis and taking others as hostages. Supported by the Arab coalition’s fighter jets, the Hajour tribes also managed to take control of strategic sites in the region where the Houthis were holed up.
