Iraq – Launching the project for turning refugees tents into houses at Domiz camp in Duhok

With the support of the Human Appeal organization and supervision of the UNHCR, the process of building and expanding Syrian refugees tents at Domiz 2 camp was initiated. It involves building 131 two-bedroom houses with accessories. This is for the purpose of improving the condition of the refugees by replacing their tents with houses and ending living in tents in order to avoid the winter cold and summer heat by proving refugees with building material so they can build their houses. Domiz 2 camp has 8740 Syrian refugees.
