Iraq – Military operations to eliminate sleeper cells in desert and Al-Anbar

The sleeper cells of ISIS are still active in desert and Al-Anbar which jeopardize the security stability in Iraq. Political experts indicate that this threat had motivated Iraqi forces to launch continuous military operations on these areas in order to eliminate those sleeper cells and to prevent ISIS members from infiltrating to desert and Al-Anbar areas while escaping from the military operations against them in the east of Syria.
