Yemen – Contradicting views about assigning a new governor.

The people of Aden had contradicting views about President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi’s decision to assign Ahmed Salmin as the new governor of Aden. Some considered it a positive step that would help re-establish stability and law enforcement in Aden, while others doubted the new governor’s ability to make changes. On the other hand, some people argued that this step will not offer anything new in terms of security, especially since Salmin was previously the deputy governor and he never initiated any actions to address the political and security imbalance in the province.
