Yemen – A child suffers from starvation in Taiz

Just like many children in Yemen, the 10-year-old boy, Ghazi, suffers from malnutrition, but his severe sickness made him unable to stand on his feet, as hunger exposed his skeleton in a surreal scene that mimics the reality of many people in Yemen. After their father was paralyzed where they live in Jabal Habashi, Taiz, Ghazi worked with his older brother to support their family of 8, mostly girls. A few days ago, Ghazi was admitted in Al-Muzaffar Hospital to receive the necessary treatment, hoping that he and his family would receive the needed therapeutic and nutritional aid.
