Yemen – Cautious calm prevails in Al-Kilo area after fierce fighting

Cautious calm prevails in Al-Kilo area in the province of Hodeidah, which is the main link between the provinces of Sana’a and Hodeidah, after the region witnessed violent clashes a week ago between the Yemeni government forces and the Houthis. The fighting came as part of a military operation launched several days ago to retake the city of Hodeidah and its harbor from the Houthis, who have been in control of the city for about 3 years.
