Iraq – Launching of election campaigns in the Kurdistan region

Erbil – Kurdistan Region – Iraq 12/9/2018

The publicity campaigns for the elections scheduled to take place on the 30th of September was launched in Kurdistan Parliament with the participation of more than 3 million voters in the region with the competition of 700 candidates from various political parties and forces on 111 seats in parliament, the election campaign is due to continue until the 28th of this month. Observers expect the campaigns to be free from problems and to hold successful parliamentary elections resulting in a new government to continue solving the economic problems experienced by the region for nearly four years.
