Iraq – Opening a number of squares within the initiative “Alaq Baghdad”.

In the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Mahdi Al-Aalak, and a number of senior officials and representatives of sponsors and supporters, 11 squares were opened within the initiative “Alaq Baghdad”, as the first phase followed by 10 subsequent squares in the capital Baghdad distributed on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa. The initiative “Alaq Baghdad” is an idea launched by the musician Naseer Shamma, implemented and financed by the Association of Iraqi private banks and with the direct support of the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, and the contribution of 27 private banks and one government bank.
